Three educational institutions of Bashkortostan received Paris certificates of UNESCO Associated Schools. This is the secondary school No. 2 of the city of Baimak, Shaikhzada Babich Bashkir Gymnasium of the Zilairsky district and Yanyb Khammatov Bashkir Gymnasium of the city of Beloretsk. Schools of Ufa — No. 100, No. 110, No. 147, as well as Ufa City Bashkir Gymnasium No. 20, Lyceum No. 2 of the city of Dyurtyuli, secondary school No. 4 of the village of Raevsky, Alsheevsky district, secondary school of the village of Krasny Klyuch of the Nurimanovsky district, the Bashkir gymnasium of the city of Agidel and the "Semitsvetik" kindergarten of the village of Bulgakovo, Ufa district also became holders of the UNESCO certificates.
The Ambassador on Special Assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Grigory Ordzhonikidze awarded UNESCO certificates to schools and gymnasiums of the republic. He took part in a working meeting in Ufa with active participants of UNESCO Associated Schools and UNESCO Clubs of the Russian Federation. The meeting attendees noted the positive experience of 20 years of cooperation between the Republic of Bashkortostan and UNESCO on the implementation of relevant projects and programs, including in the field of education, science, and youth exchange.
As noted by the press service of the Committee RB for UNESCO, to date, 39 Associated Schools of UNESCO, nine UNESCO Clubs of the Russian Federation, and more than 100 Clubs of Friends of UNESCO of the Republic of Bashkortostan have been created and successfully operate in Bashkortostan.
